Description
East Hartford Farmers’ Market – Fresh Food & Community Access
The East Hartford Farmers’ Market is a seasonal community market held every Tuesday from 2:00 PM to 4:30 PM, July through October, on the lawn of the East Hartford Public Library. Designed with accessibility and food equity in mind, the market offers a convenient midweek opportunity for residents to shop for fresh, locally grown produce, eggs, baked goods, and seasonal items from trusted Connecticut farmers and vendors.
Operated in partnership with the Town of East Hartford and supported by public health and food access programs, the market proudly accepts SNAP/EBT and participates in nutrition incentive programs like CT Fresh Match, helping all families bring home healthy, affordable food.
In addition to its core lineup of growers and small producers, the East Hartford Farmers’ Market also features nutrition outreach, community health partners, and rotating seasonal offerings. It's more than a marketplace—it's a local wellness initiative rooted in accessibility, connection, and care.
In our quest for genuine feedback, the Green Shield on BISTRO BUDDY symbolizes absolute authenticity. We validate each review by requiring evidence of real experiences, such as photographs of meals or beverages. It's important to note, sensitive details like purchase receipts or personal information are kept confidential and will not appear on our site.
